According to my realtor, no one in the neighborhood knew there was a former movie theater beneath the stucco.

I knew it was there :(

but that's not the point... I wonder if she was being truthful or was trying to make it seem more interesting..

When the face of the building fell down, there was a big article in the SPR that the theater had been long since forgotten.

I remember that article.. but I had the benefit of my great grandmother who used to point that place out to me constantly before she passed...

Beautiful. I'd be on Cloud Nine if something unexpected like that popped up in my neighborhood (which has been an important crossroads for a couple hundred years now but unfortunately didn't start getting thickly settled until around the time of the Woodrow Wilson administration).
