Friends from puppetkaraoke.com: Welcome! This is just one of my PK-related posts. You can also:
1. Read my
Puppet Karaoke fan blog, specifically
2.
Read my whole darn blog.Without further ado, the Wall of Valor circa early June '07:
Your guide to my past
Puppet Karaoke entries.
Edit: since there is such keen interest I've added their song selections.
MIA/POW/OMG/BBQ: Punky Delhi, my first PK effort. "Let's Dance," David Bowie
1. Mindy Pauper, "Puppets Just Wanna Have Fun," Cyndi Lauper (co-creator: Jody)
2. Yip the Dog, "Hound Dog," Elvis Presley (prehensile tongues are love)
3. Dread Pirate Mondrian, "Fly Me To The Moon," Frank Sinatra (Non-representational scourge of the seven seas)
4. Dapper Six, "Life During Wartime," Talking Heads (an interstellar bolshevik)
5. Spudnik, "Ever Fallen In Love With Someone You Shouldn't Have Fallen In Love With," Buzzcocks (has to stay 100 yards from Jodie Foster; low earth orbit suffices)
6. Excessively Wonderful, "Fly Me To The Moon," Frank Sinatra (my first deliberately 2D effort)
7. Dalkon Six, "Hurts So Good," John Cougar Mellencamp (an interstellar birth control device; thin crowd that night - Dalkon Six apologized for "literally killing to get into the show... perhaps too many, too many")
The POGMA-06 aesthetic: all puppets must be built onsite in the "Emergency Puppet Construction Zone." Even
thinking about the puppet prior to arrival is frowned upon.
